Very lovely place a little outside of mid-Bologna. Super friendly and helpful staff and a Sicilian menu that is quite different from all the other menus in traditional Italian eateries in town. Even their wines and liquors were a bit different, and we really enjoyed it. Also it seemed like a great local place without a lot of tourists. We would definitely visit again. Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options on the menu, but their main thing was definitely fish.

18 October 2022Plain and cozy wine restaurant. Can’t say much about the food as I only stopped by for a wine. Wine selection by the glass not so broad. Prices ok-ish for Bologna’s standards, I suppose. Nothing super extraordinary, pleasant place to spend some time at if you happen to find your way to its spot, away from the hordes of tourists in the city.

18 April 2023The steps are too high and the cannuoli aio taste it without the outer part of the chocolate, i.e. white. The meatballs and cheeses I chose were very good. My sister is our guest friend liked the baked pasta and other appetizer they chose. Who is disabled however for those very high steps they cannot go there they should lower the steps or put a passage for the disabled.

A fantastic little place, just far enough out of the city centre to feel secluded from the tourist crowds. The small menu is filled with great produce and takes some influence from the local area (great focaccia, mortadella on a plate to start) while featuring real Sicilian food. Service is excellent; very accommodating, friendly, with wait staff obviously passionate about the food they are serving - something that doesn't happen often. The Vegetarian lasagne was carefully made by a skilled chef, and tasted amazing. Beef tartare was simple but showcased the beef very well. Also, the best cannoli you will eat, with fresh Sicilian ricotta!

18 July 2018Very nice place, intimate, delicious dishes with exceptional raw materials. The service really courteous, fast and pleasant. Good quality - price, nice location near Porta Zaragoza for a nice after-lunch stroll through the narrow streets of the centre. Advise!

18 July 2022We found ourselves by chance, a secluded and romantic location. I absolutely recommend. The waitress is nothing short of fantastic, sociable and always available

La Fastuchera, where to find a piece of the Mediterranean in Bologna. The food receives and deserves 5 stars, balanced in flavors and seasonings, a choice that is not correctly vast but refined. There are few limits to the imagination for pairings with wines and more. Service? One of the owners, Alessandra, is professional and welcoming, helpful and seems to have eyes everywhere for customer care. The environment is well cared for and very assorted as accessories but not tacky. I will definitely come back to visit you... thank you very much.

I had already been there once and, as then, I found myself very well. Delightful environment. You eat well without spending too much and the atmosphere is very warm with welcoming staff.

18 July 2019The place serves authentic Sicilian food. From the outside it looks like a small place but when you enter it is another world, we were quite surprised. The owner and the waitress are very nice and friendly. It is a very cozy place and the food is very good. I recommend le polpette, the caponata, the salsiccia which are spicy, the burrata and the cannolo. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs for the little ones
